Kurni, the shooting star of Marche
Near the town of Cupra Marittima, in the Marche wine region, Italian winery Oasi Degli Angeli offers a golden nugget to wine lovers, especially those who appreciate the complexity and finesse of the unique taste offered by the Montepulciano grape variety. Marco Casolanetti and his wife Eleonora undoubtedly produce wines from the Marche region with a strong identity, an expression of the terroir from which they come.
A rare and prestigious Italian wine
Montepulciano, the king of Marche grapes, finds here an expression beyond comparison. Blending tradition and modernity, Marco and Eleonora sublimate this grape variety on 17 hectares where they produce only 6600 bottles each vintage.
A true artist of viticulture, Marco chose to plant his Montepulciano vines at a very high density per hectare. The vines are planted close together, forcing the roots to dig deep down for the elements they need to survive. The care given to each vine, combined with very low yields (1 vine = 1 bunch) and the use of natural products to treat the vines, enable Marco and Eleonora to obtain grapes of the highest quality at harvest time.
A Marche wine, made to keep
Their low-interventionist vision and the use of top-quality winemaking and ageing equipment result in a wine of the highest quality: concentrated, aromatic, elegant, in short, a wine to keep for 16 years or more. Kurni d'Oasi Degli Angeli, a wine to be tasted at least once in your life.
Kurni is an essential Montepulciano for all wine lovers. So, whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply an explorer of the world of wine, Kurni should be at the top of your list.
