Intense ruby red.
Nose
Intensely fruity, a complex aroma with fragrances of morello cherries, blackcurrants, vanilla and liquorice.
Mouth
Rich first impressions with very fine, full-bodied tannins, a hint of ripe fruit, black cherry preserves and balsamic. Never-ending length.
Winemaking
Fermentation at a controlled temperature of about 25°, about 16 months maturing in French oak barrels, then 6 months maturing in the bottle.
