Gioveto, Cantagallo: An Italian wine produced by passionate winemakers.
Gioveto, Cantagallo is an Italian red wine from Tuscany, more specifically from the Chianti Montalbano wine-growing area. Located to the west of Florence, Tenuta Cantagallo e Le Farnete is a family estate run by two brothers, Enrico and Dario Pierazzuoli. The company's history began in the 1970s when their grandfather bought Tenuta Cantagallo. He was joined by his grandson Enrico in the 1990s, when they also acquired the Le Farnete estate, located in the Carmignano production area. Today, these two estates are one and the same, continuing to perpetuate local winegrowing traditions with a philosophy based on respect for nature. The result is wines that are both distinctive and delicious.
Grape varieties and aromas of Gioveto.
Gioveto, Cantagallo is made from a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah. Sangiovese, the emblematic grape variety of Tuscany, gives the wine its structure and acidity, while Merlot adds texture and substance. Syrah adds fruitiness and spiciness. The result is a wine with aromas of fresh berries and a touch of pepper. A well-balanced Tuscan red wine.
For those who appreciate supple wines.
Gioveto from the Cantagallo estate is a wine that will appeal to fans of supple, fruity Italian wines. Thanks to its smooth tannins and creamy texture, it's ideal with grilled meats, wood-fired pizzas and pasta dishes in sauce.
