The Estate's Rich Heritage
The Fattoria dei Barbi extends over 306 hectares (95 of which are planted with vines) between Montalcino and Scansano in Tuscany. Stefano Cinelli Colombini, heir of the ancient Sienese lineage present in Montalcino since 1352, now manages this family estate.
Pioneers in Oenology
The Fattoria dei Barbi has always been a guardian of tradition, but has also been attentive to innovation. It has been a pioneer in many areas of oenology. The Colombini family was among the first to export to France, the USA, England and Japan and to make a "Super Tuscan" wine.
Award-Winning Wines
They produce several Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino, Morellino di Scansano, Chianti,... Since the 19th century, they regularly receive major awards and prizes.
