The Legacy of Fertuna: A Tuscan Wine Producer
Origins and Unique Terroir
The story of Fertuna started in 1997 in Tuscany, in the heart of the famous Maremma region, between the villages of Castiglione della Pescaia and Gavorrano under the Maremma DOC appellation. Surrounded by dominant and wild nature which makes for an amphitheatrical effect around the plots of vineyards spread across 125 acres, Fertuna is distinguished by a wine production which comes from a selection of different grape varieties chosen solely for their intrinsic qualities.
Tradition Meets Modernity
Between age-old traditions and the modernity of the manufacturing facilities and processes, Fertuna gives an important place to the natural setting it is ensconced in, particularly by collecting rainwater in an artificial reservoir, which allows for the total irrigation of the estate and satisfies all of its water-related needs.
Exceptional wines
On this fertile land surrounded by nature and bathed in light, giving it a special microclimate, Fertuna offers some of the finest values of the Maremma, in the image of the excellent Messiio, the company’s iconic wine by the name of Lodai, or even Plato. It is no wonder that the famous Tenuta San Guido, creator of the legendary Sassicaia, has made wines in collaboration with Fertuna...
