Discover the Excellence of Cantina Due Palme

A Rich Heritage in Puglia's Winemaking

The Cantina Due Palme is a Puglian cooperative founded in 1989 in Cellino San Marco, in the province of Brindisi, in the heart of upper Salento. At the heart of the project is Angelo Maci, who comes from a family of winegrowers and has made the Cantina Due Palme one of the largest and most prolific cooperatives in Puglia and Southern Italy in general.

A Diverse Estate with Native Varieties

Located in a triangle of land which surrounds the provinces of Brindisi, Taranto, and Lecce, the estate of Cantina Due Palme spans 5400 acres, 90% of which is covered by red grape varieties. Some native varieties grown include Negroamaro, Primitivo, Susumaniello, Aleatico, Fiano and Malvasia Nera to name but a few.

Symbolizing Winemaking Excellence

Thanks to the hard work of its more than 1000 members year after year, the cooperative has now become a symbol of winemaking excellence in Puglia. With particular attention paid to regional winemaking traditions and cutting-edge production facilities, it has managed to make its mark both nationally and internationally. This is evidenced by - amongst others - their famous Selvarossa which has been awarded the highest score by the Italian Gambero Rosso guide year after year since 2008.
