This Privacy Policy, taken together with our Terms of Use and Terms of Sale (and any other documents referred to in them) constitute the terms and conditions of alfavin.ch and govern all interaction between alfavin.ch and all users (hereinafter “user” or “you”) of the www.alfavin.ch website and any of the sub-domains of that site (hereinafter referred to as the “website”), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. When we store personal data

Personal data is stored on servers in Switzerland and (Azure Switzerland). By providing/submitting/uploading your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storage or processing. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your transmission of your personal data to the website for the use of our services: any transmission is at your own risk.

4. Notification of personal data breaches

8. Online payment systems

PostFinance's Checkout solution for credit card and Twint payments is PCI DSS certified. As a result, PostFinance only works with PCI-certified partners to meet the relevant requirements, both in Switzerland and abroad. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) includes the permanent protection of data stored on Checkout, which also includes annual audits.

Postfinance informs you that your data is stored encrypted by the software provider Wallee SA, Winterthur, in the data cloud of Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg (subsidiary of Amazon Web Services Inc., USA) on their servers in Ireland and verified by the Web Application Firewall (WAF) of Cloudflare Inc., USA. In order to check that the data does not contain malware, it must be decrypted by the WAF for a short period of time. This is a mandatory PCI requirement for data protection. Abroad, data decrypted during the WAF checking process is no longer subject to the Swiss Data Protection Act or banking secrecy, but to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or other applicable legal rules.

Our website may contain links to other websites that are beyond our control and are not covered by our terms and conditions.

Although we try to link only to Web sites that share our standards for privacy, we are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices employed by other Web sites.
