“Com Tu”, a beautiful Catalan wine project
Unaffected by the tumult of the world and the vicis- situdes of the times, the vine constitutes a red thread that men and nature have been unwinding since the dawn of time. “Com Tu”, the latest cuvée from the Barbier family, long-established in Catalonia, symbolizes on its own scale the ambi- tion of working together, motivated by the quest for complementarity and excel- lence. Dense color, with purplish highlights. A slightly wild nose, evolving with airing. The aromas, in a “southern” style, express themselves with notes of fruits à l'eau-de-vie such as cherry, redcurrant, blackberry and a slightly spicy touch of licorice. The palate is fluid, but at the same time quite dense, with vegetal and mineral notes that give it a fresh, dynamic feel.
