Location and Symbolism
Cantina Pianbello Vini is a private winery located in Loazzolo, in the province of Asti. The symbol of the house is the wolf, also present on the coat of arms of the municipality of Loazzolo, whose name derives from the Latin term Lupatiolum (place where wolves roam).
Wines and Production
Pianbello Vini is part of the Alta Langa consortium and produces wines under the appellations Moscato d'Asti DOCG, Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Docletto d'Asti DOC,... It produces its wines with grapes coming from their estate which extends over 60 hectares, 31 of which are vineyards.
A Family Tradition
The Cirio family has been producing classic and traditional wines in the area for two generations.
