Solaia 1990

The Solaia vines lay on about ten hectares with a southwest exposure, located nearby the Tignanello vines at about 350-400 meters above sea level.  The soil is of the marly limestone type.

This creation of the Solaia winery is relatively recent, with the first vintage produced by Antinori dating from 1978.  Solaia is produced only in exceptional years.
